The Gold subscription

What is the Gold subscription?

Many features of the Rother app are free of charge. With Gold you unlock all premium features and content - for example, you have access to all maps and all guides in the app, i.e. more than 13,000 tested tours from over 250 digitised books. The range is constantly being expanded.

Price and payment

The Gold subscription costs €2.50 per month / €29.99 per year and is billed annually. Payment is made for one year from the time of booking. We do not offer a monthly subscription or monthly payment.

How to subscribe:
1. Rother App
Go to "TEST GOLD..." at the bottom of your profile. Tap the "GOLD" button and follow the instructions on your smartphone. Payment is made via your payment method stored in the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Webportal rother.app
Click on the "Gold" button and you will be redirected to our payment service provider (credit card or PayPal).


 
Note: you can test the Gold subscription for 7 days (you can cancel within 7 days without being charged. If you do not cancel, you will be charged the annual subscription fee after 7 days. You can only use the trial period once).

Cancellation of the Gold subscription

If you do not wish to continue your subscription, you must cancel before the end of the annual period (otherwise it will be automatically extended by one year).
You can cancel at any time and continue to use the Gold subscription until the end of the period you have already paid for.

How to cancel the Gold subscription in the app:
1. go to your profile in the Rother app and open the settings (cogwheel symbol).
2. in the "Personal settings" section, select "Premium account".
3. at the bottom you will see when you have to cancel your subscription. Below is the "Cancel subscription" button.

Alternatively, you can also cancel the subscription in the Play Store (profile picture top right, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions) or in the Apple App Store (account top right, Subscriptions).

How to cancel the Gold subscription in the web portal:
1. go to rother.app
2. click on your user name in the top right-hand corner and open the settings.
3. in the "Personal settings" section, select "Premium account".
4. at the bottom you will see when you have to cancel your subscription. Below is the "Cancel subscription" button.

 
Note: you can only cancel the subscription where you purchased it (on Android in the Google Play Store, on iPhone in the App Store, on the web at rother.app). If you uninstall the app or delete your account in the app, your subscription will not be cancelled automatically.
