An dieser Stelle werden sämtliche Leserzuschriften der letzten Jahre veröffentlicht. Damit können all diejenigen, die mit einer älteren Ausgabe dieses Titels unterwegs sind, mögliche Veränderungen und Abweichungen nachvollziehen. Bei Neuauflagen werden die Hinweise aus Leserzuschriften selbstverständlich geprüft und gegebenenfalls berücksichtigt.

My wife and I are using your Cyprus walking guide and find it invaluable, as trails are so often poorly marked. We would especially draw to your attention walk 26 - Ariadne Trail, which is advertised in the CTO / Forestry Commission booklet but is impossible to follow without your guide. Apart from a board (lying on the ground) at the beginning of the walk, near the now-empty Treetops Hotel, and a board at the end (in Gerakies village) there are NO markers. Also, just beyond the Lookout Station, a huge enclosure is currently being erected, makng it almost impossible to identify the path back to Gerakies.
We have brought this to the attention of the CTO in Paphos who will notify te Forestry Commission. We hav also suggested that in their next Walks Booklet , they insert an email address so that walkers (rarely Cypriots) can send in their comments direct!
Our only other comment re. your excellent booklet - if only more of your walks were circular!!

J'ai utilisé votre guide des randonnées à Chypre (version anglaise), c'etait très bien.
Quelques remarques : les temps sont trop serrés, il faut marcher très vite pour les respecter et on est surpris, pourtant nous sommes des randonneurs expérimentés.
Pour la randonnées 13, les explications pour la descente sont trop compliquées, il suffit de dire de suivre les indications "Psilo Dendro".
Pour la randonnée 6, il faudrait indiquer qu'il est possible de revenir par le plateau au dessus de la rive gauche du torrent, ce qui diminue le temps de parcours qui est dejà long. Il est impossible de tenir l'horaire que vous indiquez.
Excusez moi d'écrire en français mais je lis l'anglais mais ne l'écris mal.

Dear fellow walker
I am writing with regard to an error in the Rother walking guide for Cyprus (1st edition 2002). I recently had the opportunity to make use of your excellent guide whilst on holiday but must point out a possible serious error.
The mistake relates to the Adonis Trail walk as detailed on page 28 of the guide. The walking time is shown as being 1.5 hours The walk is actually 7.5Kms and took 3.5 hours to complete. It is fortunate for me that I set off in plenty of time to complete the walk before dark.
I hope you will correct this error in future issues of your otherwise most excellent guidebook.
